Refunds

If you cancel a Birth pool hire before the day of dispatch we will refund the hire in full.

If you cancel a hire before 12 noon on day of dispatch we will refund the full amount minus a £10 admin fee.

Pool hire cancelled during transit (after dispatch but before delivery) — full refund less £40 administration fee PLUS return courier costs (variable by courier). You can either refuse the delivery and it will be sent back to us or you can call us and we will try to recall the goods before they arrive with you. Please note, the refund is based upon the basic charge for a hire pool (base cost is currently £140.00) and any additional fee paid for PRIORITY dispatch at 37/38 weeks or IMMEDIATE dispatch at 38+ weeks is not refundable as this portion has already been "spent" as we have prioritised your shipping and incurred additional costs created by the late booking.

Birth Pool Hires are classed as a service and as such are not governed by the distance selling regulations.

Once a hire has begun (ie. you have taken delivery of your hire kit) no refunds are given regardless of use.

The Birthing Pool hire period is maximum 6 weeks – return must be made within 48 hours of use for hygiene reasons.

The costs to us remain the same regardless of a quicker return, so we cannot refund for early return or non-use.
